TELECOM Nancy
Engineering degree in computer science
I graduated from TELECOM Nancy, specializing in systems and network security.
The program provided a deep and comprehensive foundation in computer science, ranging from low-level systems to advanced security topics. I worked on projects including web development, compiler design, and various low-level tools, as well as in-depth work on cybersecurity, malware analysis, and reverse engineering. I also studied and designed security protocols, alongside advanced topics in cryptography.
The curriculum also covered project management, law, and communication skills, helping develop a well-rounded profile beyond purely technical expertise.
I participated in a military cyber warfare simulation, gaining hands-on insight into real-world threat environments and defensive strategies.
Beyond its technical content, the school has a strong research-oriented approach, which I found particularly enriching, as it encourages curiosity, rigor, and a deeper understanding of the underlying principles behind computer science and security.
